As a japanese, especially from the kansai region.. I really appreciate good matcha 💚 Kora's matcha really reminded me of the one I had in Kyoto and it was indeed a famous brand of matcha from Japan. If you want the authentic japanese matcha experience that is hard to come by EVEN IN JAPAN... you'll need to come here. and for the price.. its around the same as the prices in Kyoto. Every single cup takes alot of work! Now I don't have to travel to Kyoto so its a steal😂 PS; I did this review out of my own accord. The owner did not ask me to 😊 I genuinely am impressed of the quality and want more people to taste it.

Definitely get your matcha fix here! Love the various options of matcha powder. I chose the Umonji (lowest tier) and it was already very palatable! It tasted just like what I had in Kyoto’s GOKAGO (shin matcha latte). Cool thing is that they provide milk alternatives at no extra cost, and the price is already the iced pricing. Additionally plus points because you can choose your sugar level! I went with 0g for the Umonji. Deducted a point on service only because I ordered oat milk but it came with Hokkaido milk. V tasty though? Hahaha

Popped by on a Sat noon! First up, kudos to the owner and interior designer who ideated and executed such a cosy and aesthetic interior for the place!! The crowd was slowly building up but I was lucky enough to get a seat. Got the earl grey matcha which was unfortunately not up to expectations as the earl grey milk completely overpowered the matcha. For $11+ I don’t think it justifies the quality of the drink. Hope some fine-tuning will be done for this. Nonetheless, I have to commend the service and friendliness of the staff here. The story was that the barista mistook my Airpods as trash and almost threw it away hahaha. I was surprised when it happened so quickly but she was apologetic and offered a cookie in return. I thought was really sweet of her when she did not have to do so. Again, to my surprise, I actually found the cookie to be tastier than the matcha I had lols. Overall the experience really made my day, and because of this amazing service recovery, I will come back to try the other drinks. Thank you Kora and that barista! Oh by the way, avoid peak hours and weekend if you’re visiting this place. It can get super crowded and overstimulating.
