I was pleasantly surprised by the service of the receptionists - letting me settle down in a nice seat to my choice. I ordered two drinks - one matcha and one coffee. Both drinks were awesome - The matcha was awesome and as someone who has a sweet tooth, I would say try the “espresso iced sparkling coffee” (can’t remember the exact name) .. it has a sparkling water taste to it, perfect pair with a nice weather in the morning. The steak pasta was recommended by the staff and I tried it. I savoured every single bit of it. The meat portion was sufficient, soft and had that juicy fat to balance the taste and texture. Pasta was a sufficient serving as well, tomato base and boy it smelt amazing with the cheese on top. The founder personally sat down to talk to me and asked about my experience here - the first at any cafe. Thank you Romme for making my Friday ❤️ I’ll definitely be back.

Xhs brings me to this place. New cafe around, opened for 1.5months now. Overall experience is good. This are some of the items we ordered 1. Sunrise platter 2. Beef sandwich 3. Ice chocolate 4. Misugaru latte hot 5. Berry me waffle I’m not sure if their focaccia is made in house or outsource, but it’s not that flavourful for a focaccia. Beef sandwich bulgogi, it shouldn’t go wrong with bulgogi. Taste great flavour compliment well together. Ice chocolate was really lacking in taste too (maybe a little more grams into the chocolate powder will work). Hot Misugaru latte was great, you should definitely try it. The breakfast plate was presented well too. The waffle is abit lacking in flavour. The service stands out, friendly welcoming and keeping the smile on. It’s a pretty new cafe so I believe there will be many room for improvement. Looks like a young people startup, so keep it up 👍

I had a disappointing experience at romme. The service was great, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. However, food was extremely substandard. I ordered the rosé steak pasta, which was initially so well done that looked more like pork chop. I shared my feedback with a staff member that the steak appeared overcooked (especially compared to photos from other patrons on Google Reviews), and she kindly offered to have it remade. When the new plate arrived, I was shocked - the steak looked more like raw tuna than beef. It was purple, rather than the reddish hue you’d expect from a rare steak, which I did not dare to consume. The pasta sauce also didn’t resemble rosé at all - it tasted more like a sour tomato base. The strawberry matcha was rather diluted, though the focaccia was decent and the earl grey matcha was actually quite good. Overall, I definitely wouldn’t recommend the rosé steak pasta unless romme opts for fresher meat or changes the cut of beef they use.
