First of all, the queue to get a table is a mess. There’s a queue line outside but people just ignore it and go straight into the shop to ask for a table. Then what’s the purpose of the rest of us who are queuing properly? They can’t even get right to who came first. Not sure if they are overwhelmed by orders or they’re under staffed. After ordering I had to wait 30mins just for my drinks. Not even to mention the food …. I also hear other tables kept asking the staff for their drinks. Donuts came quickly because it was already displayed on the shelves. Ordered the brown sugar maple and pistachio kunafe. Both is good and not too sweet. Overall food is good but just the waiting time to get the food and the queueing system needs improvements.
Food here was surprisingly good!! Came after seeing some Instagram reviews and the sourdough donuts were AMAZING. We got both the Kinder Bueno & Key Lime ones, and both were stuffed with filling and the donut itself was soft & fluffy. For Mains, I highly recommend the Chilli Crisp Udon with Fried Chicken - springy udon noodles tossed in a spicy, addictive sauce and the fried chicken that came along was HUGE! Very value for money. Smoky Brisket Toast was tender and they were very generous with the blanket of creamy, soft scrambled eggs. I liked the sourdough slices they gave with the Clams! Chewy & bouncy, not too tough & not super sour. Place was really cute too! They have seating on Level 2 which I prefer as it’s more spacious and it’s very cutely decorated 👍🏻
Came here on a weekday lunch. Nice atmosphere (L2 is pretty quiet and has a great vibe with a lot of smiskis) although the aircon was a little too hardcore for me. Food was great! Enjoyed the shiopan which was crisp. The udon noodles was delicious and I loved the spice. I think it might be a bit on the spicier side but within my limits. Enough to give the little kick. Would recommend!
