Pork chop was well marinated and deep fried to crisp. The pickled veg had a right amount of sweetness/tang but lacks heat. Pea/carrot were unnecessary and does not complement the food. Perhaps a sunny side up would be better.
I've been wanting to try this place ever since it really boomed in popularity during the COVID days, and I finally got to visit yesterday! They absolutely did not disappoint! Both the pork and chicken cutlets were incredibly crunchy on the outside yet perfectly tender and juicy inside. The pork cutlet was definitely the favourite, so yumss! The owners were incredibly friendly and nice, which always enhances the experience. The atmosphere isn't much to rave about, as the eatery is tucked away in the building's basement, giving off a small, old school canteen vibe. But cleanliness is definitely on point there! The food quality, affordable price, and great portion size more than make up for the simple setting. Will definitely visit again soon!
Visited Supreme Pork Chop Rice at Beach Road on a Saturday afternoon with the family. Surprisingly, there wasn’t much of a crowd, so we were served quite quickly. Unfortunately, the fish set was already sold out by the time we arrived — which was a bit of a letdown, but also shows how popular it must be. We went with the remaining options: pork chop rice and noodles. The noodles were for the kids, and they were just right — not too salty, with a light and tasty broth. The portion was kid-friendly and easy to eat, which they enjoyed. For the adults, we had the pork chop rice. The pork chop was crispy on the outside and still tender inside, with a nice seasoning that wasn’t too heavy. The rice was fluffy and fragrant, and the side vegetables added a good balance to the plate. It was a simple but satisfying meal. The staff were polite, and service was efficient with no waiting time. Overall, a pleasant dining experience. We’ll definitely return — next time, we’ll just come earlier so we can try the fish set!
