A Chinese traditional look cafe that serves good roasted milk tea and desserts. The roasted milk tea is hot throughout due to fire below the pot. The rose fragrance is well mixed with the hot pu er milk tea which bring out the flowery flavour. The taro bundled with the mochi gives the chewy and soft texture. The brown sugar further enhanced the sweetness.

Visited Lantine last night and was lucky to snag an outdoor seat—such a lovely spot with breezy air that made the whole experience super cozy and relaxing! The cafe’s vibe is so calming, matching the serene Song dynasty-inspired aesthetic it’s known for, and it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a sweet treat in the evening. I only tried the Taro Mochi (S$6.90), their modern take on the traditional Teochew dessert with chewy mochi, mini taro balls and a bed of smooth taro paste. The texture was nice overall, with the taro paste being light and not cloying (a plus for those who don’t like overly sweet desserts), but the taro flavour felt a little mild for my taste—nothing bad, just a personal preference. It’s a great spot for the ambiance and a casual sweet bite, especially the outdoor seating during this season of great winds.

Definitely a really zen place! Comfortable place to chill with friends over food or dessert! They serve both mains, drinks and dessert! Would definitely recommend you guys to try their newly launched menu! We love the creamy mala rice noodles as well as the tomato one! They have vegetarian friendly mains like the mock chicken curry which goes well with rice! Their claypot tea is so good! LOVE IT! So fragrant for the rose pu-er that we tried! For the dessert would strongly recommend the taro mochi! We tried the soufflé and was pretty good too!
