Charming, pleasant, Singaporean treats. My conversations with the staff were as sweet as the pastries. I tried the banana pie and apple crumble. As someone with low expectations for fruit-based desserts, I was amazed by the lightness, unique textures, and harmonious flavors Dona Manis' bakes had to offer.

The apple crumble from Dona Manis is delicious, delightful to taste. Juicy hunks of apple as filling, striking the right balance between suppleness and crunch. Most importantly, the sugar level is great. Not too sweet but just right. Another pleasant surprise is in that important second dimension in any crumble - the crust. Buttery and yummy even after microwaving, not too thick and yet not lacking. A definitively different product from from its flagship banana pie - which incorporat much chopped almonds and shredded coconut. Worth the journey to try this crumble for the first time. Would order again 😋

Apart from their amazing banana pie which absolutely crashes the competitor next door, Dona Manis serves a delightful apple crumble which just don't get enough attention. I love the contrast in texture between the firmer bigger apple chunks and the softer smaller cubes. The perfect balance between the sweet crumble and tangy apple is spot on. If you are the customer who likes your dessert to just be 1 dimensional sweet, then this is not for you. Otherwise, remember to buy an apple crumble along with the banana pie.
