Not sure how this place got the 4.6 stars rating it has. Maybe from people giving 5 stars with no comments? First impressions were not the best. We were left waiting at the entrance for quite a bit. The male staff served two tables, saw us, and ignored us. The lady at the counter who was with a customer (she looks like the manager), also ignored us. She could tell the staff to give menus to another table... but ignored us. Throughout the meal, i noticed there was unfair treatment of customers. Some get better treatment than others. As for the atmosphere.... it was the usual Aston's. However, this one came with a bad smell. Maybe it's the cloth they used to wipe the tables? Whatever it was, it was not pleasant. Utensils were not the cleanest either, and there was a small hair on the edge of my plate. Yuck. Food was 50-50. My crispy chicken was fine. My partner's scrambled eggs on the other hand, was one of the worst I've tasted. It was so.. bland. The baked potato was so dry too. Every time we go to this particular outlet, it's a let down. :(

This astons is the best outlet in SG! All the food was very fresh and delicious. Thank you to all the crew who worked hard ❤️❤️❤️
