🟠 La Levain 23 Hamilton Road Singapore 209193 🔵 Location = How to get here? ********************************* 🔵 Use "Exit A" from Bendemeer MRT station on the Downtown line. ➖️ Walk straight along Kallang Bahru Road. 🔵 When you reach Lavender Street, cross it. Continue walking ahead, and you'll see Hamilton Road. 🔵 La Levain is located mid-row among the conserved shophouses along Hamilton Rd. It's a short 6 min walk. 🟧 Decor / Menu ******************* 🟧 The interior of La Levain features an open-kitchen concept, allowing visitors to see the bakers at work. 🟧 A stylish long-glass display counter showcases a variety of pastries. On the opposite side are rack shelves displaying tubs of cookies for sale and other merchandise. I also spotted panettone ( as Christmas is coming) 🟧 The space is bright & well-lit with a clean and modern feel. The indoor dining section consists of a long orange coloured banquette and wooden chairs and tables. 🟧 There is also alfresco ( outdoor) seating as well. 🟢 Menu = what they sell ************************** 🟢 The cafe features viennoiseries, cruffins, baked sandwiches, muffins, pies and egg tarts. 🟢 There is also French Butter Croissant, Pain Au Chocolat, Sea Salt Kouign Amann, Shio Pan and one of their popular items is the Bubur Cha Cha Croissant. 🟢 I had the Plain Croissant for takeaway. ▪︎️ The croissant had a beautifully crisp, golden exterior that shattered lightly with each bite.➖️ Inside, the crumb was airy and tender, with a slight chew that gave it a satisfying & well-developed texture. ✴️ Light, fluffy and freshly baked, it was a well-crafted croissant. 🟢 People often say the true measure and hallmark of a good French bakery is its plain croissant, and La Levain’s version certainly lives up to that reputation. 🟣 Service = The crew behind the counter were friendly, and efficient. I had wanted the Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte but was told they no longer sell this.

Good variety of pastries and well made and tasty. Service staff friendly and pleasant. Ambience is so so but pleasant enough for the price point as this is really just a cafe with ready made pastries although I think they make sandwiches fresh . Have tried several pastries from here and this is my 2nd visit and have enjoyed them all. Cute decor for Halloween - adds some cheer

I chance upon this cafe on my bucket list but was really disappointed in terms of the service they’ve provided… I was the only one in the cafe dining in at the moment, table wasn’t cleared…. Firstly the pastries came before the utensils had to request for new set of utensils as my table was filled with the previous customers food and drinks ( was a little disgusted and sian already ) Secondly my drinks took longer then expected so I would guess it would taste good but nope just another normal cup of drink…..and be mindful I was the ONLY customer inside that order drinks but if that’s the case they could have let the customer know the waiting time of their drinks at least if they know there be any delays…. Mediocre tasting pastries with glorified names more choices other then after places…nothing special that will give you a significant impact on the taste Ordered: 1.Caramel macchiato hot $7.60 (normal tasting macchiato with steep price nothing special) 2.Pistachio salted caramel $5.50 (this was really good due to pistachio and loaded with sugar if not it’s just normal……) 3. Brown sugar kougin Aman w Smoked sea salt ( name so fantastic taste so normal and nothing close to its fantastic name -.- ) Pastries were rather cold and ready made and microwaved / oven baked to your table so don’t expect much…..if given a choice u were in my shoes will u pay for service charge ? Laughs* first and last good luck
