Apartment Coffee truly lived up to its name as The Top 6 of World’s Top 100 Coffee Shop. Been there twice, once in November and once in December, and I can tell certainty that their coffee quality is consistent, even during busy hours, by brewing up to 6-8 filtered coffee at the same time. Their coffee is balanced, bright & well rounded, sweet, and brings out all the essential notes of that Origin Beans without any sort of bitterness. Kudos to how that roast the beans and definitely how they brew them. I love to take my time to truly appreciate a good cup of coffee, and Apartment is one of my go to coffee shops.
One of thoase Instagram friendly places one feels sorry falling a victim to. We've heard about the place before, passing by at 10am the queue was short, we decided to give it a try. The only positive thing was pleasantly speaking servants. The rest sucked. You go there for a coffee, don't. For 9SGD per cup one gets a cheap tasted drip American coffee that any brewing teapot could make better. The coffee has no taste, numb, no smell. We've ordered different beans, all the same. Out of 1hr seating time requested by the owners, we've waited for 25 minutes to get the coffee served. Be mind that we were among the first batch of clients to get in for the day. For a decent cup of coffee go to any food court stall, uncles at least care about the coffee they serve. Again, 9 bucks for tasting reused beans in a fancy cup (the place wasn't crystal clean btw), no, thank you.
Aesthetically pleasing coffeeshop with great lighting. Tends to get crowded throughout the day but the queue management by them is excellent. Try to get a bar counter seat, and place your order. Always recommended to get a filtered coffee and admire the staff brewing your drink right in front of you. The coffee is excellent, and even the cups which they serve the drinks in are beautifully crafted.
