Nice atmosphere conducive to conversation. Deco is interesting, yet felt clean and soothing. The menu has a wide selection and enticing. I would definitely like to go back again. One of the few places in Singapore that can do a good Panna Cotta. The pizza was really good, and of course the kebab.
We got a food delivery from Pano a month ago and we really enjoyed the food. Decided to pop in for an early dinner just over the weekend ( sat ard 530pm) and we were really disappointed at the quality of food. We ordered a calamari to start and to my dismay, the calamari was clearly frozen and not fresh. You know immediately when you see it and taste it. It is rubbery and doesn't taste like calamari at all. It was really disappointing considering that it cost $28 for a very small serving. It was also really greasy and poorly fried. For mains we ordered the grilled chicken and beef kebabs ( same as what we got for the take away ). Goodness me, the beef was overcooked, the pita bread was also over cooked and both were SO DRY. It was nothing like the take out which is strange because you would expect the take out to be worse as food don't usually travel well. The chicken breast was terribly marinated and a few pieces were "overly marinated" with tenderisers. You know when they put a lot of tenderisers into meat and the meat no longer has the texture of meat? That's what the chicken taste and felt like- rubbery plastic. There was no consistency. I remember that in the take out, they added jalapeños and pickles as well, but it wasn't served in the main restaurant. We were really disappointed with the quality and inconsistency of the food. Honestly if you're paying this amount for 2 pieces of beef kebabs, you would expect something of better quality. We won't be coming back again.
I visited this charming Mediterranean restaurant with a friend yesterday, and it was such a delightful experience that I just have to recommend it. We ordered one of their signature flatbreads, which is a must-try here. We chose the portion size meant for two to share, and it came with a choice of three dips. Our selection included a smooth chickpea-based dip, a refreshing cucumber salad-style dip, and our absolute favorite — a smoky, slightly spicy eggplant dip that I think would be especially appealing to Chinese taste buds. We also ordered a medium-well lamb chop platter. The lamb was exactly how I love it — juicy with a perfect balance of fat and lean, grilled to a slightly charred finish. The portion was generous and ideal for sharing. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’d highly recommend trying their signature flatbread with dips, as well as the lamb or beef — both are fantastic.
