Disappointed with Poor Service at Famous Amos Wisma Atria (Singapore) As a long-time fan of Famous Amos, I’ve always appreciated the brand’s consistent quality and customer experience around the world. Unfortunately, this standard seems to falter at a few Singapore outlets—particularly the one at Wisma Atria. I encountered exceptionally poor service that left a bad taste, not from the cookies, but from the attitude and handling by staff. I asked for the promotion pack of two flavours—150g each for $16.90. To my surprise, I was told that each pack could only contain one flavour, contradicting what the promotion seemed to offer. Fine. I adapted and chose four separate flavours. However, when it came to my request for the original chocolate chip cookies, I was informed they didn’t have enough to make 150g. Naturally, I suggested adding some chocolate chip pecan to make up the weight. The cashier’s abrupt reply was simply, “Cannot!” No explanation, no flexibility, just a flat rejection. What frustrated me even more was the inconsistency in their handling. After declining my suggestion, the cashier told me, “It’s ok, actually it was too hot to pack, but we still gave you.” — which made no sense. If the cookies were too hot to pack, why proceed at all? And more importantly, why weren’t the cookies baked in advance—especially the original chocolate chip, the brand’s signature and best-seller? At that point, I gave up. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of offering solutions, the staff gave conflicting reasons and displayed a clear lack of basic customer service. If I am expected to pay full price, I expect the product and service to meet brand standards. Famous Amos, please look into this. Your loyal customers deserve better.
